Summit Baptist to Host “Make a U-Turn” Service This Sunday
The Summit Baptist Church of Sugar Grove, Virginia, will be hosting a special service this coming Sunday morning (Nov. 19, 2017) at 11 a.m., dedicated to helping individuals who may stand in need of getting their lives going back in the right direction. The special event is titled “Make a U-Turn to Jesus” and will be geared toward lovingly and Biblically helping individuals who may have slipped a bit, get back going in the right direction again.
“Each day we wake up, we’re faced with thousands of different choices and sometimes, the choices people make aren’t good and often have lasting negative consequences. Fortunately, God not only allows but encourages U-turns in life and our church stands ready to help individuals who may have found themselves in this particular situation,” said Jeremy Farley, pastor of the Summit Baptist Church.
“Anyone who’s been in the Christian life for any length of time have had to take advantage of God allowing U-turns and as a church, we’re dedicating this entire service to loving on and helping people who are in this stage of life,” said the pastor.
Summit Baptist Church is located at 1202 Cedar Springs Rd. in Sugar Grove, Virginia. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the U-Turn to Jesus service begins at 11 a.m.
Over the past year, the Lord has been blessing Summit Baptist Church, allowing increases in growth and outreach. As the church celebrates its 75th year of ministry, the people of Summit Baptist Church are continuing with a burden to see broken and hurting people find lasting help.
